Innsbruck-Kühtai by bus only 38 km

Get on and arrive – Kühtai is easy to reach. Your vacation domicile is only 38 km away from Innsbruck, from there you can reach your destination within a very short time: from the main train station with the free bus, where you only have to prove with the reservation confirmation that you have booked in our hotel. Treat yourself to an even longer vacation pleasure thanks to a relaxed journey! The bus stop is located directly in front of the Jagdschloss-Resort.

 

By car

Vignette requirement

Motorway Munich – Kufstein, towards Innsbruck, past Innsbruck towards Bregenz. After Innsbruck take the exit Kematen-Sellrain. From there it is only 25 km (approx. 30 min.) to Kühtai.

Motorway Ulm-Kempten – Füssen – Fernpass – Imst – then Inntal motorway – exit Ötztal. From the exit it is still 25 km (approx. 30 min.) to the Kühtai.

No vignette requirement

Motorway Munich – Garmisch, then federal highway in the direction of Seefeld – Zirl – Sellrain/Kühtai. From Zirl 25 km (approx. 30 min.) to Kühtai.

Motorway Ulm – Kempten, then federal highway Füssen – Fernpass – Imst – Ötztal – Ötz – Kühtai. From Ötz it’s another 17 km (approx. 20 min.) to Kühtai.

Winter tires and snow chains in winter

The road towards Kühtai is only passable with winter tires during the winter months. We also recommend having snow chains with you.

Cows have priority in the summer

Should you visit us during the summer months, please pay attention to the cows, as Kühtai is a grazing area. The cows have priority here.

 

Improved journey by public transport to get to the hunting lodge resort in Kühtai

By rail

  • Starting in December, the Westbahn (in addition to the ÖBB) will run to the Tyrol for the first time, as far as Innsbruck. Three direct connections from Vienna are planned per day.
  • Deutsche Bahn is launching a new year-round connection between Innsbruck and Frankfurt. In addition, the “Ski Express Tirol” will be extended from Hamburg to St. Anton am Arlberg, where the stop will be Ötztal Bahnhof.
  • The new “Tui Ski Express” will operate between Amsterdam and Tyrol for the first time this winter.
  • The Swedish “Snälltaget” ski express and night train, which starts in Malmö and stops in Copenhagen and Hamburg, runs as far as Innsbruck.

In the air

  • Starting in December, Air France will offer a direct Paris and Innsbruck flight twice a week, plus a weekly charter flight on this route from Incomer Travel Europe
  • Air Dolomiti/Lufthansa increases the direct Frankfurt – Innsbruck connection to four daily rotations in winter.
  • Jet2.com strengthens the connection to British Bristol and offers a direct flight from/to Innsbruck once a week.
  • For the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, the scheduled Innsbruck-Stockholm flight will be resumed by SAS Stockholm, once a week.
  • Starting in December, Transavia will offer a twice-weekly connection from Innsbruck to Brussels.
  • From Austrian Airlines, a weekly connection between Berlin and Innsbruck is planned from the end of January to the end of February.

From Innsbruck main station you can take the public transport to Kühtai free of charge, the bus stop is located directly in front of the Jagdschloss-Resort.

Guest transfer/shuttle cab ride

Our partner company “Taxi-Georg” can gladly drive you from Innsbruck airport or from the main train station with his hybrid cab directly to the hunting lodge, for the organization we are happy to assist you.
